Accessibility Statement

Central Pharmacy wants as many people as possible to be able to use this website. We have built it to work for people with a wide range of access needs.

How accessible this website is

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In building the site we have:

• Made every interactive element reachable and operable with a keyboard.
• Checked text and background colours meet the AA contrast requirement.
• Stopped animations and the homepage carousel from moving for visitors whose device asks for reduced motion.
• Given images meaningful alternative text, and marked decorative images so screen readers skip them.
• Used clear headings and labels so the page structure makes sense when read aloud.

You should be able to

• Zoom in up to 200% without text spilling off the screen.
• Navigate the whole site using a keyboard alone.
• Use the site with a screen reader.
• Change colours and contrast through your browser or operating system.

Known limitations

Some content on the site comes from third parties, such as the embedded map on our contact page and reviews shown from Google. We do not control how accessible those are. If they stop you finding what you need, contact us and we will give you the same information another way.
